BASIC CATEGORIES OF TEA
Leaf grades: These have larger leaves and are classified as Orange Pekoe and Pekoe.
Broken Leaf grades : Broken Orange Pekoe and Broken Pekoe. In the terminology of tea,Pekoe is derived from Chinese for leaf, and Orange is the colour of the bud when dried. It does not refer to flavouring from the fruit of the same name within the broken leaf type there are further divisions which include :
Fannings: All small leaf teas.
Dust: The smallest leaf particle size and it is certainly not "dust from the factory floor".
Used in Tea bags.

STORAGE OF TEA
Tea easily absorbs moisture and odours and so it is essential that it is kept in a cool dry place away from and strong smelling items. It must be stored in an airtight container and used within a reasonable time.

It is now generally accepted that tea is beneficial to health. It has less caffeine than coffee what’s more is that it is good deal cheaper! We invite you to become a part of the tea experience and tradition.

PACKAGING IS IMPORTANT
The process of packaging tea is important as tea that is old or not properly packaged loses its flavour and aroma. Our Premium Quality tea is fresher than most tea brands because it is packed and exported in sealed aluminum foil pouches soon after blending. Our Premium Quality Tea is packed in attractive wooden boxes made from plantation timber. We also pack tea in 100gms, 250gms, 500gms & 1kg. Duplex broad cartons. Also in tea bags with or without strings containing 2 gms tea. As per market requirement we can arrange packaging and bulk supply.

THE DIFFERENT SEASONS
Easter Flush: These are springtime teas, harvested from late February to Mid-April. The young leaves yield a light tea with a flavor of green muscat. Their arrival is impatiently awaited by connoisseurs, and they are sometimes specially airlifted to the buyers around the world. A gentle, afternoon tea.

Spring Flush: Harvested in May and June, these, teas are more fully constructed than First Flush varities The liquor is bright, the taste full and round with fruity note. An afternoon tea.

Summer Flush: During this period the nature of the liquor changes, becoming stronger, yet retaining the brightness and character that Darjeeling is known for.

Autumn Flush: These autumn-harvested Darjeelings are characterised by large leaves that give a round taste and copper liqour. They can be drunk in the morning with a bit of cold milk.
